We are passionate about farming and providing the highest-quality fruit to our customers. From small beginnings in 2021, we have undertaken best agriculture practices to allow us to grow our footprint to over 300+ hectares and expand our operations while maintaining our commitment to quality.
Our pineapples are hand picked, then carefully packed in the field for transport to our packing facilities for final assessment, cleaning and packing at our state-of-the-art facilities. With capacity of over twenty containers per week, our produce is then placed in our on-site cold storage facilities in preparation for export. Using our automated selection lines and electronic grading systems, we leave nothing to chance. This ensures quality and freshness are delivered all of the time.
With our very own substantial farming assets adjacent to our packing facilities, we are able to offer consistent and flavorful pineapples, year round. Growing some of the finest pineapples in the world requires care, commitment and dedication. Hosting decades of agriculture knowledge, technique, and experience, our farm teams are pivotal to the success of our brand and always remain true to their passion for the industry.
Kelcey has significant agricultural experience, working on her family’s organic farms in Maryland, USA.
In 1990, the Johnson family decided to invest and build international farms to expand their portfolio. The Johnson’s decided to develop the first organic pineapple farm in Costa Rica which Kelcey helped manage.
Egdomilia began her career working the line in a pineapple and yucca packing facility.
In 2006, Egdomilia moved to a larger facility focused solely on the packing of pineapples. She joined as assistant manager before becoming Packhouse Manager in 2010. Today, you can find her overseeing the day to day management of the team at Piña Hills.
Francisco has been working in the pineapple industry for over 25 years. He has held senior management positions for some of the largest producers, including; Banacol, Fyffes, La Lydia and The Fruit Farm Group. Frank holds a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the EARTH University in Costa Rica.
Francisco oversees all of the farming operations for Piña Hills.
